Amarachi Akwarandu, Psy.D.

Post-Doctoral Psychological Assistant

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating the challenges of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am committed to fostering healing and growth in young minds. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, and Behavior Therapy, offering a creative and personalized path to emotional well-being and self-awareness.

I believe that every child deserves a safe space to express themselves and explore their emotions. By blending evidence-based techniques with creative outlets, I empower clients to uncover their strengths, build coping skills, and transform their challenges into opportunities for growth. Whether through the structured tools of CBT, the expressive freedom of art, or the practical strategies of behavior therapy, I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every individual. My ultimate goal is to help people rediscover their strength, confidence, and joy, enabling them to thrive in all areas of their lives.
